Progress Report 4

Miss Burley has now shown us all the different lighting options we have to use for our play that can make the scenes more real and frightening for the audience. Our group has a fair idea on what lighting choices we would like to use for our performance and we intend to start incorporating them into the script.

Progress Report 3

We are now in the stages of getting more depth into the storyline and adding more lines into it. We have created more of whats going to happen in our performance and we have decided to have Bella play Sabrina's conscience to scare and confuse her. Sabrina will be frightened of whats going on and Bella will be telling her different ways she can escape this Dream Like World by relating to different movies, e.g.. finding nemo, wizard of oz and alice in wonderland. This lesson we have also decided to start practicing our performance at lunch times to make sure we all have a clear understanding of how the play will run on the day of assessment.

Progress Report 2

For my second progress report our group has conjured up more ideas for our performance that we have included into the script. A few of our new ideas include; Sabrina (Mia) entering into the Dream World, lost and scared and starting to hear all these voices (Georgia, Bella and Theresa). We are explaining to her that she has been there before and we are trying to tell her that their is no way to escape from us. We then crowd around Sabrina and pull black sheets up around her to try and trap her.

Progress Report 1

In our lessons my group have been working alright together to come up with the ideas for our play although at sometimes we do get easily distracted. Our group has thought of a lot of great ideas that we have incorporated into our performance to make it Dream like. We have decided to have Sabrina playing the main character, Mia and I will play strange character 1, Bella as strange character 2 and Theresa as 3, Kelsea playing the mum. Some of our ideas so far include starting off the play with Sabrina (Mia) playing with her dolls on the floor and Kelsea (mum) coming in to say goodnight and when she goes to turn off the lights Sabrina gets scared and doesn't want her mum to turn off the lights as the monsters will get her but Kelsea reassures her its all in her imagination. We then spin Sabrina around on the bed and she then enters the dream like world. I feel that so far our progress is going okay although we could work better at staying more focused.
